Ring Size Guide
Find Your Ring Size – The Fjord Jewelry Guide
Choosing the perfect ring starts with the perfect fit. Here's how you can measure your ring size at home in two easy ways:
✦ Method 1: Measure an Existing Ring
Best for: If you already have a ring that fits the intended finger.
- Pick a ring that fits comfortably on the finger you’ll wear the new ring.
- Measure the inner diameter (in millimeters) using a ruler or caliper—measure straight across the center of the ring.
- Match the measurement with our Ring Size Chart below to find your Fjord size.
- Example: If the inner diameter is 17.3 mm, your size is US 7 / EU 54 / UK N½.
✦ Method 2: Use a Paper Strip or String
Best for: If you don’t have a ring to measure.
- Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of string.
- Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger (not too tight).
- Mark where the ends meet and measure the length in millimeters.
- Use this formula to calculate your ring size: Inner Diameter = Circumference ÷ 3.14
- Find your diameter in the chart and choose the closest size.
✦ Tip: Measure your finger at the end of the day when it’s largest. Avoid measuring cold fingers, as they can be smaller.
