Ring Size Guide

Find Your Ring Size – The Fjord Jewelry Guide

Choosing the perfect ring starts with the perfect fit. Here's how you can measure your ring size at home in two easy ways:

Method 1: Measure an Existing Ring

Best for: If you already have a ring that fits the intended finger.

  1. Pick a ring that fits comfortably on the finger you’ll wear the new ring.
  2. Measure the inner diameter (in millimeters) using a ruler or caliper—measure straight across the center of the ring.
  3. Match the measurement with our Ring Size Chart below to find your Fjord size.
  4. Example: If the inner diameter is 17.3 mm, your size is US 7 / EU 54 / UK N½.

Method 2: Use a Paper Strip or String

Best for: If you don’t have a ring to measure.

  1. Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of string.
  2. Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger (not too tight).
  3. Mark where the ends meet and measure the length in millimeters.
  4. Use this formula to calculate your ring size: Inner Diameter = Circumference ÷ 3.14
  5. Find your diameter in the chart and choose the closest size.

Tip: Measure your finger at the end of the day when it’s largest. Avoid measuring cold fingers, as they can be smaller.
